Born in Vancouver, BC, Adrienne began playing piano at the age of five and first started singing in the church at the age of nine. Adrienne’s journey as a pianist and educator began with private teaching, guiding students of all ages in piano, voice, and theory. When a bylaw forced her to move her teaching out of her home, she turned the challenge into opportunity and founded Simusique Studio, building a thriving music school from the ground up.

Adrienne has over a decade of experience teaching piano and voice to children and adults, conducting choirs, and designing music programs that combine technical skill with creativity and performance. She is the founder of Simusique Studio which hosts over 400 students, and she enjoys mentoring teachers and studio owners who are building sustainable, values-driven music programs.

As an educator, Adrienne partners with families who are committed to supporting their child’s musical growth. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes consistent practice, aligned expectations between teacher and parent, and creating an environment where students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of music. Her goal for every student is to reach their fullest potential (hopefully beyond Level 10 RCM), empowering them to play music independently as a lifelong skill.

Outside of teaching and running the studio, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to podcasts on health and wellness, colouring, playing Animal Crossing, and discovering delicious food around the city.

She would also like to express her heartfelt thanks to her teachers—particularly Tami Sikina and Alice Enns—who inspired her love for the piano and introduced her to the meaningful and rewarding world of piano teaching.
